going user inactive isn't permanent, why?
the only way is permanent is to be banned for good.
Think some have did it and then asked Ed to come back like Bobbisox a few weeks ago???
Question Author
I was just curious. So like what happens if you deactivate your account on here?
the mods and Spare Ed and Ed can ban people, mostly spammers.
why do you ask?
You cant post on it no more but all your history stays on?
then activate it when you feel ready to return, i think that's right.........
I hope lots of people arent trying that now!
so how did Bobbi return?
I thought Ed reactivated pehaps after an email but may be Bobbi will tell us...
Once deactivated a member can't reactivate their account. They can register under a different name - or ask the Ed to sort it out - which she may or may not agree to do.
It would be the same as anywhere. When deactivated you cannot use it until you want to activate it again.
Question Author
Ok Naomi what would whether or not they do depend on?
oh ok, i thought that you could go user inactive, then reinstate it when ready.
No idea, evan. I'm not the Ed.
Question Author
Ok. Well how exactly do you know you can’t reactive it Naomi?
I've been here a long time, Evan, but if you have any questions about it best you email the Ed.
just stop posting
if there is a post or two you want to delete
the ed will make a decision

random deletion wh seems to happen anyway (*) makes a thread hard to follow. Harder to follow then.

(*) Engrenages is a cult series in French so I reminded people the delicious Laure ( she's in Engrenages see) was back - in French, and it got deleted because ed thought it was er panis enlargement - I think.

I had kept it clean - - the post that is!
Question Author
Ok Naomi will do thanks.
Nomai knows everything - didnt you say that adoringly a thread or so back?

Remember what my employer - when I had a job that is! - said about (adverse) newspaper reports ....
tomorrows fish wrappers ....
Early start today, PP?
