It was closed down before I could respond. Ok It's the odd swear I use that is the bone of contention. I get that, I will no longer try and bypass the swear filter. Though I do think that the odd minor swear word does garnish writing that is meant too emulate the peaks and trough's of speech rather than an essay.

I'm shocked that anyone would have the Gaul to add an Asterix!

I am afraid I can swear with the best and the worst but I do like to play with words so a back door attack is always an option
Pfft? I’d be high offended by that APG, I often get called ‘pet’ but not in the true meaning of the word , it means a term of endearment haha and I’m not sure that’s known by the person doing it :0/
Just waiting for some boor to come along and say 'Ooooh we do like a back door attack...'
Honestly, some people!
swearing
the first scene of ET
one of the children calls another a dackheed
and mother protests so he says OK
mean-us-brayne

which I have used ever since
oo shoota - you are awful
so you er shoot bofe ways?
Bobbi being called 'pet' is the same as someone calling you ' love'
I'd rather be called 'Pet' than Radjd' ha ha

My cousin used to call everyone 'Man' even the females like 'Give ower man!'
It doesn’t bother me at all Aunt Polly, it’s where I come from....man :0)))))
If I was left wing, I'd report your back doors, rowan.

Hey up, pet. I'm al ways ganning and seysing pet ter yer.
I ken well what I's seysing, te. xx
I bet that was hard to write Spicey haha
// everyone 'Man' even the females like 'Give ower man!'//

richard prior in one film says "hey that was great man"
to Anne Bancroft dressed as a man
and she says - dont call me 'Man' !

robert vaughan chips in - at age three she called me Bubba and that was the last girlie thing she ever

have a thread ( oops fred) which is boring
well then change it to a thread which is of more interest and contirbute
It was for a Taff. ;)
Anyway, Tora. According to the terms of the McPherson Report, if you feel like an oppressed minority, you are one.
Everyone, if they were honest, knows what common acronyms like TROB and TROP mean. They are lingua franca on the net.
Everyone uses acronyms. If I don't know what they mean (and care) I look them up.
Insults are sometimes wrapped up/ disguised in rhyming slang
Banter, Bazile.
naomi

//Communication is all about … well… communication, but I often skip TTT’s thread because I don’t know what he’s talking about. I find most of the rhyming slang incomprehensible - and I’m a Londoner.//

It reminds me of a holiday ,we had with a mate of mine who was Indian, several years ago. He was determined to be taken as a cockney and even told my MIL he was one although born in Calcutta and very brown skinned.
We were walking along a beach in Calahonda Spain and saw two Spanish Gentlemen beachcasting . As we walked under their fishing lines our friend quipped to the two Spaniards, 'Caught any plates and dishes mate'.
I was born in London ( not a cockney) and that was a new one to me. I imagine the Spaniards were equally bemused.
.My wife( she speaks Spanish fluently) and I just smiled and shook our heads.
"Everyone, if they were honest, knows what common acronyms like TROB and TROP mean."

I don't
I also think that "banter" is one of those things that can feel different depending on whether you are the giver or the receiver
The right on brigade . The religion of peace. This is like parsing crossword answers.
I don't either but if I wanted to know its a 10 second Google.
oh ok so disguised insults
