Hi everyone - I'm posting this continuation thread early so that we're guaranteed to have "Latest Posts" showing over the upcoming busy period. The last thread is here -
Having just looked at the league, being too busy over the weekend... I actually though I would've done really well knowing all the results etc... but not moved anywhere with either team... which isn't too bad seeing all the other changes around myself.
I few Midfielders still under-performing by their own standards for me as well and a couple that did really well. I'm not getting overly excited about the appointment of OGS yet, but its seems as though a great weight of gloom has being lifted for the United lads, and no disrespect but Cardiff are hardly a 'big club'.
I can't think of which game you're referring to Lie-in King ;-) imagine if it happened week in week out... which I've had to endure for so long now with only a few exceptions.
... and a Merry Christmas to you all, hope its a good one.
OGS' appointment looks good. I'm no fan of the side & was quite happy to see them flailing, but as someone that appreciates good, well-played sport, the performance was a joy to watch. Real football being played again.
Arky, your "...Cardiff are hardly a 'big club'" makes no odds to my mind - I don't believe they'd have got that result under Señor Special. The next few months could be interesting...
Merry Christmas guys. Poor weekend from my lot, they must have been as distracted as myself over the weekend.
“I never succeeded in bringing to the field what was going on in my brain. I had the talent for the fifth division, and the mind for the Bundesliga. The result was a career in the second division.”
Nudging now cos I'm trying to concentrate on grub & the bar's been open a while... Will nudge again in the morning if I'm up.
First kick-off tomorrow is 12:30, so if you're seeing this now & think you might not be "fully aware" in the morning, get your Captains sorted out beforehand.
I hope you're all having/going to have a great day - be well :-))
Well, that was an interesting set of matches... I've a team up to 6th - at last the Captain choices & transfers are starting to click.
I only get to watch via MotD, but from their highlights, wasn't there some great football all round? A few teams finding good results & the table shifts quite perceptibly...
Anyhoo - here's the schedule for Game Week 21 -
Sat 29th - 6 matches, 1st kick-off 3:00
Sun 30th - 4 matches, 1st kick-off 12:00
The next set of matches starts on 1st Jan & I'll post the times for them on Mon 31st.
It's never over until somebody sings
