Hello Ed, I am fairly new to computers and although I know how to get into quizzes and puzzles plus crosswords, I would like to know what CATAGORY to use to chat on the first (page)? (thread)? of AnswerBank. The one that seems to be the most popular. For instance, there has just been a query regarding the April Jones case. Thankyou

''I would like to know what CATAGORY to use to chat''

That would be Chatterbank:

The News section is what you will be looking for re: April Jones.

The section for general chatting is Chatterbank:

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/ChatterBank/
All new threads (except maybe Chatterbank ones) will appear on the front page, but each new question has to be made within a specific category.
Your question isn't actually very clear to me but here's a useful hint:

If you click on the word 'Topics' (above the list on the left) it will show all of AB's subsections, so you can choose where to post.

Chatterbank is the place for idle (and usually less serious) chatter.

Thankyou everyone. However, have just looked at Chattebox and there is a joke about hitch-hikers in the cold - the latest on the page I want to get into has a thread from MrFoley re A4 paper so it looks like two different catagories to me. Am I just being "dik" (afrikaans for thick). Thanks again. Pat
Just click on Mr Foley's thread on the front page or when you see it in the Latest Posts list on the right hand side of the page
If you want to join in a thread that has just been updated (on the front page)click on the right hand side column - headed Latest Posts - on the red title and you will automatically go to that page.
When you say Chatterbox do you mean Chatterbank?
I think Chatterbox is better!

OK, it's Chatterbank for me from now on. Apart from my problems with the competitions I have a go at. Have'nt been lucky yet. Thanks again for all your replies and go well.
