Why do we want to know? We want to get a feel for what mobile users use the site for at the moment so that when it comes to building a mobile site we can make sure we strike the right notes.

It'd also be great if you could give me examples of mobile sites that you like elsewhere on the web. We're aware of big-hitters like Facebook and the BBC - but maybe you've come across a great mobile site which needs some praise?
AB looks good and works very well on my Blackberry Torch via the Opera mini browser.

The Independent app is excellent, and the Daily Mail website has one of the best user interfaces, although the content is a bit questionable at times.

I use Wikki a lot when I have those nagging questions that must be answered NOW.

Thanks HC, do you mainly use the touch on your torch or the direction pad, for navigation I mean? Don't you think the menus on AB are a bit fiddly for touch?
I use the direction pad rather than the touchscreen on AB. My fingers are too fat for tapping tiny boxes.
I check on threads, I dont want to waste my allowance on browsing

I thought you might HC.

Oo-er Trigger. I'll have to look into it, you're using Android aren't you? Do you just use the normal browser?

Cazz, do you the My Profile page?
yes I use my profile, its a shortcut to finding threads I have created or been involved with
Question Author
Excellent Cazz.

We're thinking that the mobile site should be a bit of a dashboard for keeping track firstly, and having search and asking as secondary functions.
a good idea :)
