posted a similar thing on Friday - AB is definitely running very slow (for me at least) - the latest posts aren't changing and I can go on a thread and find four or five posts which haven't shown up in the latest post column. Am I the only one?

don't want to disturb the wildlife in there trim -
Bobbi have worked out how to clear my cache (sounds a little risque so early in the morning but I'm game for a try) - will see if it improves - thanks
carmalee, good morning :0)
I see sarkiness is still prevalent in here..lol

go to tools, then options, then clear cookies?
it very well may not be the case but I am trying to help, pity some folk don't see that
Question Author
still nothing happens when I click on refresh - no worries, will live with it - thanks for the help Bobbi - at least my cache is clear!
no problems here, so I'm guessing it's with your provider or your computer. It may also be Trim sending out death rays, if he lives anywhere near you.
The Latest posts pod shows you the last the most recent posts from across the site. It also informs you of how long ago those posts were posted.

The box is refreshed every minute. If you want to refresh it manually you can click the latest posts label at the top.

If someone post a question before the refresh you won't be aware of it in the latest posts pod until you've refreshed it.

If there have been no posts the only thing to change would be the time "ago" that the questions were posted.

So in answer: AB isn't slow, it's just the way it works.

Does that help at all?

All the best,

Spare Ed
AB seems fine to me, it's the rest of the internet that's slow.
Question Author
thanks for the answer ed - the latest post column is not refreshing unless I click on a thread -it remains static for 10/15 minutes/whatever -therefore no new posts are showing and nothing happens if I try and manually refresh it.
