Film title sequences

Does anybody know the word used to describe the studio intro sequences at the start of films - like the Universal rotating globe, or the MGM lion, etc.

Romeo by Basement Jaxx

I heard a version of Basement Jaxx's Romeo recently with just a womans voice and a sort of easy listening/accordian background. Any ideas who it's by?
