Are i-pods cheaper here than in Turkey?

A turkish friend has asked us to take him an i-pod but I don't know whether he would be able to use it in Turkey and are they cheaper here anyway... thanks!!!

Hi.... we often go to Turkey and have made many friends... one of which has sent a letter asking me to take him an i-pod but I am worried whether he can use it in Turkey and are they actually cheaper...
