I am pretty good at making my own chips - get the right potatoes and oil however they really become crispy and fluffy inside but by the time i get them to the eater they dont retain the crispiness....

Just read that she has died. Loved her in the Golden Girls! I didn't realise she had dementia and had been suffering for years apparantly. She was 84 years old. Rest in peace Estelle....
