as some of you may know i broke my arm about 9 weeks now but am doing some home physical therapy (although i drive my car in a haphazard way) round the block however i am now suffering excruciating pain in the arm - it seems i have gone back to the pain at the beginning. i am getting worried and depressed - would anybody know if this is normal - i may have to ring the fracture clinic this morning if they are open -

First of all I dont think it is safe for you or other road users for you to be driving with a broken arm. it is obvious that it is hindering your driving and also causing you pain.

ring the clinic and ask the doctor. he should agree that driving isnt a good idea, and so will the police if they catch you.good luck

M A T R I X - I only drove two streets away but what i am really concerned is the pain in my arm do you think this is normal and would stepping into gear about 6 times have caused this pain.
Homebart, only your doctor will be able to answer that. 2 streets, 10 streets, it makes no difference. An accident can occur at anytime in a split second. please stop driving for the safery of yourself and others.
How come your on home physio? Is it not in a cast?

Anyhoo- I was in constant pain for about 6 weeks, it then eased off to a dull ache when I broke my wrist.

Go to your docs and get some kick bottom painkillers.
