As you may know i broke my upper arm about 10 weeks ago - now I am suffering searing pain in it - it was so bad last week i went back to hospital who x-rayed it and said it was fine - can anybody tell me what these pains are - is it getting better - they are insufferable. i have not got physio as there is a backlog but will be getting it in about 3 weeks time. any consolation out there

I'd ask on body and soul in Health. Or go to docs
Question Author
have been to doctors they say arm will take 6 months to heal.
then maybe take some painkillers till then and see
I imagine it is part of the healing process, although saying that, limb breakages can often lead to lifelong random pains in the region of that week or as some say during certain weather. I often get agonising pains in both my knees and one of my elbows for the same reasons.
er 'that week' is meant to be 'that break'.

i am just in from my neighbours who is also riddled with pain - she talked about a trapped nerve - could that be it.
Homerbart, I sympathise with you. I broke my wrist several years ago and it quite often hurts so much I can't put much pressure on it. I find using deep heat on mine helps the pain.
