magistrates to crown

What happens in the magistrates court when you go there to be transfered to crown court ? Does it take long,can any one give me some details of what happens please.

whats prison really like ?

Can somebody be really honest and say what it is really like in prison,do you have to wear uniform ? can the prisoner ring home at any time,these sort of things pls if any one can help.thanks

Does any body know roughly how much a court case costs start to finish ending in crown court. ? if you cant get legal aid.

If you have served your time on a conditional discharge,if you get arrested again for a similar offence could this c/d be bought up ?

if you have had a conditional discharge over 2 years ago,which was only for 12 months and it was for public disorder (racial words) what would it actually say on a crb check ? hope someone can help me...
