Immersion heater

Can someone tell me what are the correct wires from an Immersion Heater switch to the thermostat. The thermostat will not heat the water although a current is passing into it Thanks Walt

Failed rear shock absorber - replace both as a pair ?

Noticed my Volvo S60's handling was a bit odd and found the n/s rear shock absorber is failing and showing fluid leakage. It's 5 years old but under a Volvo warranty so has been booked in for repair....

Halogen bulbs blowing...

we have had a few halogen group lights added around the house by our electrician. One of the bulbs went within about 2 days and we put that down to the handling of the bulb etc, now less than 3 weeks...
