The nearest one. Since I loathe food shopping, anything which enables me to get it over and done with as quickly as possible is my favourite option.
I'm lucky enough to have M&S, Tescos (2), Sainsbos, Somerfield, Asda, Co-op, Aldi, Lidl and Iceland to choose from.
Pretty much always Asda.
I would always choose Tesco over Sainsburys. Much better value for money. I prefer to use our local Asda though. Just got back in fact! great choice and great prices!!

Anywhere but Tesco usually. If you check their special offers, quite often, you'll find that they're not all that special.

The last one I remember was 5 muller yoghurts for 1.80 when they were 38p each. That works out at 2p off per yoghurt, and you only get 2p off if you buy 5.

Tesco seem to have more of these offers that you can only get if you buy a lot of something, and I don't shop there because of that.

I've seen big value packs of cheese slices that are worse value that the ordinary small packs and the same with ice-cream tubs. The 4l ones were in the central aisle, whereas the better value 2l ones were tucked away in the corner.

They also put milk, bread and all the stuff you want as far away as possible in the back corner, whilst filling the area by the door with dvd players, phones, cds, stationary, flowers - anything but food.

I find them very devious, misleading etc. Sometimes I've bought stuff expecting it to be on special offer, but actually the offer only applied to the same product in a different size, or a slightly different product - which is often not available.

To those who shop at Tesco because it's closer and supposedly quicker - I've found it's worthwhile travelling further to Sainsbury's. The parking's better, the staff more knowledgeable, the store smaller with less non-food stuff in the way and I find it much easier to find my way round - particularly compared to Tesco with it's annoying screens with equally annoying music.

I tend to shop at the co-op, sainsbury's and sometimes waitrose and find it amusing when people drive 15 miles to the biggest Asda/Morrison's/Tesco in the world, cos it's a bit cheaper. I think they're a false economy and much less pleasant to shop in.
