Mr Cake, there again he didn't cost a lot so I haven't been left out of pocket.....

Apart from him I can't think of any poor value items, I tend to be quite thorough checking out what I want in advance to avoid mishaps.
I bought a cheap juicer from Tesco....only about £25. I have never really got proper juice out it. For instance, it converts perfectly good apples into a brown sludge. It also take about 20 mins to clean, as it comes apart into at least 12 pieces !

As I can buy some smashing apple juice in Lidl for £1 and even nicer orange juice, with juicy bits, for the same amount of money, I have completely wasted my £25 ! I keep forgetting to give it away to some jumble sale.

Never again !
No regrets
A gadget for stripping corn on the cob.
I stopped using it because I thought I had bought a 'strip the skin off your finger' gadget by mistake.
A spiral vegetable slicer -as much use as a chocolate teapot.
A chocolate teapot.
A pineapple slicer from Lakeland. Just can't get on with it, give me a sharp knife any day
Like lardhelmet I bought a spiral slicer for cucumbers. What a waste of money. Also bought a modern "Mouli" grater. Disintegrated the first time I tried to use it.
A kitchen!

Lardhelmet :) I think I brought the same item as you, was returned in the post the very next day, totally useless !
And what have you concluded to date?

A lightbulb, now I can see the dust and will have to buy a hoover.
An apple peeler/corer from Lakeland ! Just randomly scraped the apples on the outside lol ! Kept going haywire and out of sync when you turned the handle with the apple on one end. More trouble than it's worth.
Saw some chefs using a "mandolin" to slice veg. Bought one. Also useful for removing tips of fingers. Back of cupboard never to see the light of day again!
