Apparently you can get sex bolts, a chart here if you don't believe me.

Sex bolts (a.k.a. barrel nuts or Chicago bolts) have a female thread and are used for through bolting applications where a head is desired on both sides of the joint.

We are about to make enquiries about having our garage floor re-concreted or levelled off with something. We've got a leakey corner. I never thought of painting it.
