Hi peeps,

I have an Acer laptop which I was assured Sims 2 would be happy on. However, this does not ring true...

How do I find out what video card my laptop has, and if necessary, how do I upgrade it?

I thank you all.

Well thank you for your help, I shall investigate further.

I have a feeling it is a problem with the game, actually. I am getting the same error messages on a Dell PC.

Grrr

Have you checked the Sims website for patches/upgrades?
