Hello ABs. I am looking for your expertise. I have just changed my car and my new car(used) smells of cigarette smoke. Obviously the previous owner was a smoker. I have left the windows down for long periods but this hasn't helped. The odour must be held in the fabric covering the seats. Any ideas how I can get rid of the smell?

You need a smoke bomb. Nothing else will shift it and you'll probably have to bomb it again.
I bought a car that smelled of dog once and it never went away
Change the pollen filter, and buy one of the air conditioning disinfectant treatments - a one time aerosol that you discharge with the ventilation on recirc.

I would first carry out the earlier suggestion of hiring a rug doctor with upholstery tool.
