... ... ... ... one for those with RIGHT WING views, and another for those with LEFT WING views?

That way each side can always agree with the other, without some of the proposterous arguments and claims that we've seen recently on here!

If you had a left wing and a right wing would those in the middle be the parsons nose?
I am thinking of defecting to a neutral zone.

I wrote this question with tongue in cheek! With one or two exceptions, there have been some fascinating replies - thank you.

I always try to nominate a Best Answer and this has been very difficult. Eventually I decided on 'magpie' who seems to be on my wavelength!

p.s. 'Khandra' - Malmesbury hasn't really changed that much over the years. Perhaps a few more antique shops and estate agents. Oh - and the town now has a Waitrose, with access directly off the by-pass. Also the Cottage Hospital where I was born, has been pulled down and a Health Centre built in its place. I did look for a blue plaque with my name on it, but to no avail.
wiltsman; Thanks for the update. I believe the estimable Roger Scruton resides there, I have recently read his book on Spinoza, excellent, (if you like that sort of thing) Cheers!
