I'm trying to find the length and width of 1 sq. acre. Google gave me the sq. ft. of an acre, and what to compair it to. But I can't figure out the length and width. I know there are many different lengths and widths that can make up an acre, just trying to get as close to a squar as posible. Thanx all

An acre is 4840 square yards (220 yards by 22, or a furlong by a chain).
To find the sides of the square in yards, just square root 4840.
