Just seen an ad on here to win a year's supply of shoes. What constitutes a year's supply? I have bought none in the past year.

Perhaps you should have provided a loaf shoota.
Glad I am not the only one canary.
Do trainers count? I've bought 4 pairs just this year and I'll be getting more soon. As for "normal" shoes... I haven't bought any for ages. In fact the last time I bought new shoes must be sometime during the reign of Rameses 11. YES, that long ago !
I'm not shoe mad, but even so, I could do with a couple of different coloured sandals for the summer, a new pair of each black and brown work shoes, some winter boots both tall and ankle, some trainers, a pair of casual shoes for days off, some smart evening shoes, flip flops and of course a new pair of slippers!
I am the opposite. I have one pair of shoes that i wear at the moment and when that pair wears out i get another pair, same as ive always done.
My husband only ever had one pair of shoes at a time too..
If you were Mrs Imelda Marcos that would be 365 pairs. A fair prize.
I usually just wear crocs, I have 3 pairs for different occasions but I usually find a pair of crocs will last about 3 years.
i have "bought" 1 pair in the last 12 months. Inverted commas because actually i made a very small donation to charity and a very kind ABer sent me the shoes, so i can hardly call it bought!
I am very light on my feet for my weight (too much!) and rarely wear out my shoes or trainers. Don't think I've bought either for at least 3 yrs
These competitions usually mean 1 pair per month. I've entered a few but never won :(
I wear Doc Martens for work, and occasionally for weekends, that that's a minimum of five days a week for forty-eight weeks in a year, and they usually last about three years, so I guess I don't know what a 'year's supply' is either.
shoota wearing his loafers before the pup savaged them !.

I get through about three pairs of work boots a year, doesn't matter though c'us the works supply them.
Not sure what constitutes a years supply but I could manage quite a few. 20 pair perhaps
I love shoes. My latest purchases have been a pair of pink suede desert boots a couple of weeks ago, and a pair of turquoise patent leather ones last week.
You can never have too many shoes :)
I've got several pairs of shoes but usually can only wear two at a time, one on each foot.
I have not bought new shoes for years. I get mine from charity shops or use 'work shoes' like safety shoes provided by employers.
With this thread in mind I treated myself to another new pair of shoes today! I have a wedding to go to at the weekend and hadn't really got anything suitable. i have now!
