Click And Collect At Argos

I have just ordered something from Ebay and I have used the "Click and Collect" facility for the first time. How does it ? Will I get an email that I can print out and take to Argos ?

I usually just show them the confirmation email on my iPhone, they double-check my name and that's it.

they text you and I just show the message to them on arrival at Argos, they do the rest.

According to this you get an e mail, and a text if you have selected the option, when the parcel is ready to collect.

I'm surprised Argos offer this service, it's like buying a new Volkswagen and collecting at your local Ford depot.

Suite me better as well bednobs. My Argos is closer than the ruddy Delivery Office, that I have to go to, coz I am always out when the Postie calls as well. And its a free service, so what's not to like !
