What Would Happen To The Parcel?

When I buy something off eBay, there is sometimes an option to click and collect it from Argos.
You are emailed when the parcel is ready to pick up and Argos will hold onto it for about a week.
What I wanted to know is, what happens to the parcel if you don't pick it up?
I've ordered something that I've changed my mind about but it has been dispatched so I can't cancel it.
Would it be sent back if I don't collect it and would I be refunded? TIA.

Tip
If your item isn’t collected within 7 days, it’ll be returned to the seller and you’ll receive a refund.

Thanks Mamya. I was hoping that was the case, but I wondered who would pay for it to be sent back to the seller.
Would they take the postage from my refund?
I am sorry I can't add to what's in that link - it does seem very generous and dare I say it , open to abuse.

Not pointing that last sentence at you, I'm sure you have good reason.

That sound you hear in the background is eBay moving to close a loophole in their soulless operation to avoid confusion over customer service and the thought that they might have some.
I very much doubt that the seller would refund you.

You agreed to buy it, and paid. They fulfilled their side of the contract in sending it to your chosen collection point.
Collect and send back. What are the conditions for refund
Question Author
Mamya I didn't mean that to sound the way you read it.
I was wondering who pays the return charge as I know if I were to collect it and return it , then I would, so I was wondering if they would take that out of the refund which doesn't bother me at all, just thought that's what they would do.
I can still collect and return myself if that is the correct thing to do.
Apart from changing my mind about it, I've already returned something to this seller, and I just feel a bit embarrassed to return another item.
I had no intention of abusing the system.
I'm sure you don't - it's not a system I've ever used.

I have everything delivered to my home.

I'd ask the seller.
Question Author
Yes I'll contact the seller or even ebay as I've found them to be very helpful in the past.
