Fed up ignoring all the International calls I answered one a few minutes ago.

Seems I have a problem with my computer which can be fixed if I pay some money on my plastic card....

Playing daft I pretended to hear computer as cooker....told him of all the problems my COOKER was causing and asked if he could really fix my COOKER problem if I paid....

After much waffling he assured me he could fix my broken cooker...all I had to do was give him the number on my bank card....

I made sure he too was saying....cooker....I told him the oven bit wasn't heating up......and he agreed that would be a problem......

How do you fix it over the phone?....I asked....

Oh no ma'am....he said....We send a man to your house to fix your cooker.... once you have given me your plastic money number....He then read out my address....so the man could come later today.....once I had paid....☺☺☺

When in Canada once got an email from someone who wanted me to get them an air ticket to Calgary so they could give me a vast sum of money apparently inherited from some relative in Nigeria. It was cold outside, I was bored, so I went along with it -even getting them timetables so I could receive this inheritance. When they asked for a contact number so I could forward them my bank details I gave them the number of our local RCMP.
Your lady ship.... xx
Some great answers, I still giggle about the one I got 2 weeks before Christmas.

Usual opening lines' Something wrong with computer...' - I said I didn't own one.

He almost shrieked 'Aren't you ashamed to admit that in 2015!!'

I replied that I wasn't ashamed and he had something wrong with his calendar as we still had 2 weeks at least of the year left.
I also had a computer call today from an Asian lady called Sylvia. In the past I've been amazed at how many Asian men are called John, Patrick, Michael, Kevin, even a Leonard! Do they really think that they fool anybody? I'm afraid I told Sylvia to sod off and put the phone down. She didn't bother to phone back, unlike one who asked me, "Are you a phone technician?", when I said that there was nothing wrong with my computer. I said, "No, and neither are you" and put the phone down again. I used to be polite, but these days I can't be @rsed with their lies.
People do fall for it though.
'' Sylvia'' only uses that name because her employers tell her to use it,
Yes, Anne, but if 'Sylvia' gave me her real name, I would be more likely to believe her. They shoot themselves in the foot.
My daughter once got very stroppy with me because she said I'd been rude to someone who called me as I was making the evening meal, don't they always. I've always considered cold-callers fair game, they're trying to con me and deserve all they get in return.
I answered the phone at my ancient father's today, there was a man from a claims company wishing to speak to him and asked if he was there when I asked if he had an adults permission to use the phone , he cut the call, how rude
