I don't understand why a millionaire would marry a woman and then have her killed on their honeymoon.
To appease his family and hide his sexuality
From all I have heard about this case, hc has it right here.
It's not His family he might have to "appease," hc. Your comment doesn't make sense to me. You are saying that he hired this hit man to murder his bride and risk everything, just to stop his family finding out about his sexual preferences?

No, no, no.
I understand he might have wanted to hide his sexuality but I don't understand why he would arrange her murder.

It was an arranged marriage.
I don't understand why he would want to meet up with the taxi driver AFTER her murder either
He's a millionaire businessman...he could have conducted a secret life behind her back.
ummmm, maybe she threatened to spill the beans? Maybe she wanted a divorce?
I don't think a couple go arm-in-arm and kissing through a hotel if they were going to divorce, hc.
A divorce on their honeymoon seems unlikely
A man trying to hide his sexuality, newly married - who knows how he'd behave? Did his wife even know at that point?
It will be interesting to see if he makes a miraculous recovery from his mental illness which stopped him for 3 years being carted off to S.Africa.
^^ The trauma of what he went through would be enough to cause a mental breakdown.
What worries me is that the real killers are still out there and are not even being looked for. No I do NOT believe he did it, the prosecution evidence was a joke.
But the real killers aren't still out there are they? I thought 3 people were already in jail for her murder. No? Yes?
Yes you are right I am getting confused. The 3 convicted of the murder were saying they only did it because they were paid to kill her by Dewani. I can't believe there was ever evidence to extradite him in the first place!.
Just the word of 2 convicted thieves and murderers trying to get a reduced sentence.( one of the 3 convicted is already dead.)
Still the question of D meeting the taxi driver the day after the murder, and the motive of the 3 for killing her.
Just adding a bit here -
Shortly after the murder Dewani told the police that he was trying to organise a helicopter flip - with an african taxi driver!!
You have to be very, very brave to venture into Soweto in broad daylight, let alone at night.
