was that when you went to see "Two mules for sister Sarah"
Jolly good.
I'm a bit lost - what made you genuflect to the screen?

Old habits die hard.

Andy - that's what you do in the Chapel - my son.
ummmm - "Old habits die hard.

Comedy gold!!!!

Tell your friends, she's here all week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah so you went to a chapel to see a film rather than went to a cinema?
I can remember when everybody stood up for the National Anthem at the end of a film but I don't remember when the habit stopped, except that one day it sort-of just wasn't there any more !
This is very bad...........in the 60's my friends and I used to go to the pictures every Sunday night. One girl who went suffered from epilepsy and we used to run a book as to how far into the film she'd have a fit (the screens were quite flickery then).

I'm even more confused now - what does going to the Chapel have to do with it?
Because Catholics genuflect before entering the pew.
ummm - "Because Catholics genuflect before entering the pew."

I am aware of that - they also genuflect when they cross the front of the alter - did jennyjoan genulfect on her way to and from the Ladies as well?

LOL!
In Northampton, one of the routes taken on the Driving Test had to be changed.
It went passed the Catholic Cathedral and people were being failed because they took eyes/hands away from their driving to cross themselves....:o)
Lol Jack...and any church yards.
Craft and Jack - both funny posts.

Being a Protestant Atheist genuflecting meant nothing to me so I had to look it up. I went to a Catholic funeral once and was knackered by the end of it - more like an aerobics workout.

:-)
bless you Conne....lol....
As a kid I once blessed myself when passing my dad's pub (where we used to go the beer garden in the summer).

When I say my dad's pub, I don't mean he owned it, more's the pity.
