Mr O hates going to quizzes. He can spot a pub holding a quiz night from a mile away. Every Sunday I go out to a quiz with some friends and have a jolly good time.
So why is it that as soon as I come home the first thing he says is "Go on then, ask me some questions."
I have now started bringing the quiz sheet home with me and have to ask him all forty questions, yet if I invite him to come to the actual quiz he looks at me as if I have gone mad.

My Husband hated crosswords, yet every weekend as I spread them out all over the table, less than five minutes would pass before 'Go on then, ask me some'

Mic and I loved a pub quiz back in the day. We often won 8 pints, usually gave most of it away as it had to be drunk that night.

Jeza, we are lucky as the prizes are cash and we squander the winnings (ranging from £10 to £5) on the lotto

methyl, I have been there and tried that. Half the people I know who go to the quiz are beginning to wonder if Mr O actually exists!
Tony, we came second tonight (lost by one point grrr) and won £6

that's a shame, i was going to suggest he'd got a 'mole' in the pub phoning him the questions so he could google all the answers
