Popped to bathroom, for a little tiddle...peeped in the mirror, me ruddy eyebrows have buggered off, not a hair, or a whisker in sight. What the flip has happened?

It's nature's way of providing an instant disguise for ne'erdowells by giving them a completely different appearance in natural as opposed to artificial light.

Mine went when I was having chemotherapy - but honestly I would have thought you would notice that last bit.... ( added hospital visits, needles in your arm or thereabouts and so on )

I am already on thyroxine, above my eyes really is as smooth as a babies bum except for just a few hairs.
Underarms are just about the same, but I thought that was just old age.
Son says you can't tell too obviously, as I wear a fringe.

OK, two weeks on.
I have one or two little whiskery eyebrows coming up, though tiny.
I look DREADFUL !
Tried a brow pencil, it just comes off.
I know it sounds funny, but I hate it now... am I too old to get them tattoo'd back on ?

Try a felt-tip before resorting to tattoos. At least you can clean it off with nail-varnish remover if you don't like it.
