Change In The Weather

Hooray, the awful warm weather has left us in the last 24 hours, heavy rain over night and today a few showers and wonderful fresh winds from the west all day. I've opened the windows to let the colder air in and am hoping for a decent night's sleep in the fresh air.

Anybody else out there who prefers cooler weather at this time of year?

I don't mind heat; it's humidity that I can't stand. I was in Madrid for a few days last year, where the temperature was around 37C but with almost no humidity. Perfect! When I came home to the UK the temperatures was around 27C but humid. Horrid!

I am appreciating this lovely warm weather while it lasts. Soon a lot of people will be moaning about the cold. I know I will be.
