My sisters PC does not seem to be linking up with the monitor - the monitor itself is fine (works on a different computer). When it's connected to her computer and is switched on, the monitor light comes on green for a few seconds, but then flashes orange (as if on standby mode). Have tried a different monitor with the computer and it does the same. Any ideas what could be wrong, and how we could go about getting it fixed?

Thanks in advance!

sounds to me like the video card crapped out on you.

Make sure the graphics card (which the monitor cable attaches to at the back of the PC) is inserted properly into the motherboard - it may have become loosened.

Thanks very much - luckily it's working now - the graphics card was either loose or dusty! Panic over!
Check the video card is seated right in the slot
