I have taken lessons before but been stopped, now continuing again after a year and half. Is it worth doing the theory first then lessons or both ?

Can anyone advise.

IMHO, if you do your theory first, you'll learn about situations you'll meet on the road, and what you should do about them, in advance of your driving lessons.
