Not sure if this is the best section to ask -but I've just come back from holiday, and BTMail has appeared in my absence - aaargh.

Is it as clunky as it appears to be? - it's slow, and not nearly as user-friendly as before, IMO......

Nothing wrong with mine, boxtops.

Has it changed for you, though, Chrissa? The whole page layout, preview, etc., is completely different on my screen!
It's designed to be slow.
It'll make you want to buy superfastbroadband just to make you do what you used to do at the same speed as you used to do it.
Isn't technology wonderful?
I've just come back from hols as well and my BT mail is the same as before I went away - apart from the 800 emails waiting for me!!!

my service just keeps on interrupting and I need to troubleshoot or reboot.
So there you are DT.

Methyl, my normal email client is/was BT Internet, which has always been fine until recently - they have been mentioning about moving to BT Mail for a while now, with a view to aligning profiles and passwords on both the BT Mail and BT accounts (or so it says on my log-in page today).

Plowter, we've already got fibre-optic broadband from BT so surely can't get much faster than that....

I have BTmail and it is slow. Not as user friendly as o2 used to be. Maybe yours is just gearing up after been static for a couple of weeks.

Methyl, I'm with you. Too late tonight for me to be technical, but thanks for the tip - I'll have a better head on tomorrow. Not Mac, not Android. All other sites are functioning as before - it's the new format of the emails which is throwing me. I'll repost in the tech section if it's still irking me tomorrow.

Thanks gran, I suspect you could be right. There were something like 1400 emails, I've already cleared out 300 - I think some housekeeping is in order.
Welcome back from wherever by the way!

Thanks, DT - hola!
Bt Mail is a bl88dy disgrace. Its been slow to very slow for ages, and I still can't get to work in CHROME, so now use Firefox instead. If I hadn't had the same email address for 21 years, I would change to something else !
