1. My dad, having been rushed to hospital and diagnosed as having had a full-blown stroke, has been re-diagnosed with severe migraine after further radiological investigations failed to support the stroke diagnosis and he's now been discharged. :)

2. Going away with the man slave next Wednesday. After 4 months I rather fear he's starting to grow on me...

3. My increased intake of tomatoes and cucumber (for their diuretic properties) has done wonders for my water retention and banished my under-eye circles.

Thanks Tilly.

Nice one, Eccles. My grandparents had 70 chickens at one stage.
That's great news NoM - I'm so, so glad it wasn't as bad as it appeared on Thursday evening.

You can enjoy The Lakes now

2. My ECG yesterday was fine which has improved my stress levels :)

3. I managed to have a day out with friends for the first time in a long long time and it was fantastic :)

4. I've found some new authors which I love to feed my reading habit.

5. Came home to find that one of my lovely neighbours has mowed my lawn and weeds coming through paving out the back.

6. Had a really positive work meeting last week and had some lovely comments, some good things to look forward to and got a nice thank you letter.
That's a nice sounding short break, NoM!

I've often wanted to go to India but never plucked up the courage - I think I'd need three weeks to see the Golden Triangle...

Croatia is lovely, I've been there twice :-)
