Hi Elley - you have written three questions on the same subject which is the difficulties of your friend is having settling an issue
When one solicitor rights to the other that our "client accepts your offer" then detailing the offer .
yes I would have thought so, that is it is a binding contract.
however in your first question - you said the solicitor had not signed it and when it was queried the solicitor (that wrote) commented that they were seeking counsel's opinion
[ which is certainly not what you do when you accept an offer ]
what is certain - is that both of us do not have the full details. For example your friend was lawyered up so didnt actually need your advice on what an unsigned letter meant. She could ( as I said ) ask her lawyers who did have all the facts at their finger tips.
if neither of us have all the details - it is hard to give sensible advice.
The lawyers can advise your friend.
If your friend has lawyers, I am not sure that she really wants you to give her legal advice does she ? [ it is like going to a doctor and then asking the local dustbin man (that would be me) whether the doctor is right or not ]
