I also know Alex from Uni days; wasn't impressed with his politics back then and he wasn't SNP when I first knew him.....he morphed into SNP when there was a centre-right back lash against the Students Rep Council and the left was all but wiped out (of which Alex was a memberr), Michael Forsyth being behind that. My own political involvement was in the overthrow of the Students Union, not such a political animal but.,.....we threw out the NUS and got far better travel and insurance deals on the outside, as well as running the place in that horrific state, the black, financially.

So, anne, fascinating and that's it! I am allowed my insights on Mr S, as any one else is. I'm also allowed my views to devolution.

Actually if we were to get the vote on this side of the border, there's every indication we would vote strongly "Out" - down here in Cornwall and Devon, we would love it if you left as, from what Alex and his cronies have said, the Republic of Scotland would be shot of Faslane - that would secure the future of Plymouth as a nuclear base and all the benefit those highly skilled jobs and dependents would bring.
