That all these managers at the NHS are getting these large payoffs then employed in another job role. While the peoplle who have been failed by these very people get no compensation. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2584967/Girl-7-died-gross-failure-paramedic-stopped-trying-save-soon.html

It's not sad, it's outrageous!

The way managers tilt systems to give themselves financial advantage is something that should be stamped out in all areas of society.

Andy are you a member of any groups that are humanatarian? Are there any such groups that have organisation? I have been a member of Anonymous for a while now but in recent events I have been swayed further away due to lack of unity. Its just anothe3r case of people wanting change for their own benefit and not to help others. However there are some good people. But I am sure there are some good people in the NHS getting paid 100's of 1000's a year.
Most humanitarian organisations I can think of tend to focus on disaster and aid relief - charities like UNICEF or OXFAM etc, or human rights, such as Amnesty. Is that the kind of thing you are talking about, UKanon?
uk - I am not.

I am extremely wary of any 'amateur' groups because a common thread that runs through them is the attraction for manipulators, power-seekers, busybodies, and gossips who can often take over and push away genuine people.

It happens everywhere, from golf club committees to The Samartians!
um yes it is sad
but this one lost his licence and his job.

His employer will have to pay up - but I agree not much as a child doesnt earn much ( and you cant say she would be CEO od ICI, pay up! )

The large pay off go to the admin - who stand in the background and say this that and the other to staff who should know better and say 'no'.

The real thing is that you deprive people of their jobs when they make a mess of children's resuscitation which is notoriously difficult and all that does is make the next one say: oo I dont do children, I will call for reinforcements from XYZ.

eleven minutes of hypoxia in a child is easily long enough to kill her
completely outrageous, i mentioned this the other day, redundant, retire, take large payout, move ten paces onto new job, mega bucks, scandal
Scandalous. But it happens in business too- restructurings are done, big bonuses are paid to directors for doing a great job in making huge paper savings , then everyone realises they can't manage without some of the staff they lost so bring them back as contractors
ff absolutely, but in the public sector it's not their flipping money.
