Caramel Shop?

On the Werthers advert, the little girl is shown in a 'caramel shop', has there ever been a shop that only sells caramels? I can remember a shop that was called the 'chocolate shop' but it also sold other sweets, not just chocolate.

I don't ever recall one - I think it's advertising licence, just for Werthers!
I know of a fudge shop, it's in Padstow.
I think on that advert it says in very small print on the screen that its not a shop but a testing/research centre, very misleading.
Sweets in Italian are caramelle - in other languages there may be something similar -

fudge shop tanyav? now that I would love to visit, fudge is my no.1 sweetie.
If I remember rightly there is also a fudge shop in the Shambles, York.
Until quite recently, the old boy in the UK adverts was Arnold Peters, who played Jack Woolley in The Archers.

Doesn't answer the OP, I know, but it's Quite Interesting...
