Haven't read it nor likely ever will. But it comes across as pornographic - what has made this book stand out more than any other porn.

Kindles not too good in the bath.
Kindle Paperwhite will probably suit your needs best.
ok, but i wouldn't sully myself by reading this book,
I've no interest in it either.
get a paperwhute, they're ace!
i like books, the fact of lugging one around with me doesn't bother me, except for Lord of the Rings as my copy weighs half a ton.
I've never read 50 shades of grey either. Only heard about it. I would like to read 'Men are from Venus, women are from Mars', though. Is it worth reading?

priced them there kindle (basic) £69 - paperwhite £109 - would it make that much difference to me thanks for the answers.
I read the equine version, "Fifty Shades of Neigh."
i think the paperwhite has a light, but the basic doesn't
I had a Kindle but changed to Kobo as you can borrow library books on the Kobo. Not sure if you can yet do that on the Kindle. Kobo really is no different to the Kindle though, I'd highly recommend it !
If considering a Kobo go fir the Kobo Glo or if you prefer the Kindle definately get the one with the backlight in it, you definately need it !
I think those who are too lazy to turn out the light after reading would consider the £40 extra for the 'Paperwhite' money well spent:-)
I'd go for the Kindle Paperwhite. I have a bog standard Kindle which is fine once the books are on it, but it has an extremely clunky "keyboard" which is frustrating to use to download the books away from home.
I read the 50 s.o.g trilogy (kept hoping it would get better) .It didnt.
Kindle paperwhite is excellent, back-lit and you can alter the font size to suit
I have two kindles one is the very basic one, and the other is a kindle fire.
I use both of them a lot, for the basic on I bought a light on Amazon which only cost me a couple of pounds plus p&p which I thought a good deal - so much so that I bought a similar one for my daughter to use with her kindle.
Well it was cheaper than buying her the kindle that lit up! Seriously though, kindle books are cheaper to buy I've found and they don't take up space on bookshelves. I also use the kindle fire much as a tablet I check e-mail and play games and can checkout answerbank, at the moment it's my favourite toy.
The benefit of the light in the paper white is that you can read it outdoors. So if you like sitting out on a summers day with your book...get the paper white. I love mine... and it weighs next to nothing.
I never realised it was a novel. I thought was the latest Dulux catalogue.
