He's off his food, he's got diarrhoea and doesn't want to play ball.

No other symptoms.

He's had tummy trouble on and off for a fortnight or so, but he's always been predisposed to it.

What he passed yesterday was light brown / grey in colour.

Any thoughts?

Back in waiting room now. He needs a 7-day course of Metronidazole but she wants to check there's no contraindication to the Allopurinol he takes for his leishmaniasis.
Is he up to date on vaccinations and boosters? I hope he's ok.
Well he'll be off the booze for a week then, what with the metronidazole.

Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. My Yogi had a stomach bug a couple of years ago, quite nasty it was, especially the clearing up after him :(

Thanks everyone for your kind messages.
Good to hear a result and hopefully better soon.
Is he a walking waste disposal unit? Could he have snaffled something off when he was out for his walk. I had to wrestle part of a chicken from my last dogs mouth. I ended up at A&E.

I hope that he his going to feel better soon. Give him a hug from all of us.
