Bit Of Mould On My Raspberries!

Just eat a handfull of raspberries that had been in the fridge about 5/6 days.
Tasted fine but as I glanced at the last couple, realised they had a green mould in patches on them.
Any harm do you think??

Just craved something sweet after lunch, thought dont go to the bisuit jar have those raspberries!! Oh well
Unlikely - a little mould won't hurt you, and raspberries do mould pretty quickly when left in the fridge.

That said, the mould will probably only have formed in the last day or so - i wouldn't panic.
Was it Penicillium mould? LOL

Should do you good.
I've eaten bread with mould on and I'm still here!

No. The worst you can expect is an early summons to the lavatory in the morning.

Nope, I do it all the time (I do try to cut off the mould, but a bit of penicillin's good for you...)
wont hurt you - unless you have an allergy to it perhaps

stilton is full of mould.

i am allergic to mould and have eaten stilton (which i dont like at all) and also accidentally eaten mouldy cheese and bread and didnt do me any harm, i just felt a bit 'off' really i think.

i think my allergy is more to the airborne variety though, and sets off my asthma and makes my nose and throat swell.

Didnt feel any effects.
I think we are indeed a nation of softies and use by date paranoids!
I'm sure we have evolved to eat all sorts of yucky stuff and survive. I guess it depends on what you personally find palatable. I'd sling mouldy stuff immediately, harm or no harm risk.
