Famous Cars

Does anybody know the owners of any "famous" cars that have appeared on TV? Maybe someone you know owns the blue D reg Rover from "Keeping Up Appearances" or you lent One True Voice the silver BMW for their "Sacred Trust" video. OK I'm stumped for now......

most tv cars are hired from specialist film and tv companies - only the rare ones are hired off individuals.

Many old car enthusiasts, like myself register their cars with T.V. companies, and occasionally they contact us to use our cars in programmes. I have a 1963 vauxhall cresta which has been in the royal and heartbeat, and used in many commercials. The money is not great, but it helps to keep these old tresures up and running.

Soory, i wasn't clear in the question. I actually meant AFTER the cars were famous!

thats the point, they just go back to the company lot and wait for the next job.

if they sold them on, it would be like a carpenter selling all his tools - can't work or earn money without them.
