Now that Blockbuster has gone bust, where else is as good for renting DVDs? i'm not gadgety enough to use online streaming. I've had a look at Love Film, but it's hardly got much range, certainly nothing like Blockbuster - even the streaming/online stuff is pretty dated give or take the odd few.

I've got sky plus, but they don't have all the films. I don't subscribe to the movie channels as its costly and after you've had it a couple of month it just becomes repetitive.
they have all the films, just wait for them to come along. Lot cheaper than renting DVDs
Around here rental places are extinct. Netflix or streaming is all that's left.
Personally I use watchfreemovies.tv for the most part they provide decent enough quality links for both TV shows and movies. It doesn't require one to be 'gadgety' whatever that means, I am not. Just search for the show/movie you want and click the links. It's got pop ups but thats to be expected of this kind of thing.
I agree Meg, Sky is just a rip off. I used to subscribe but not any more,
