Actually, jom, there are lots of gods.

The supreme creator is Bondye, but we don't communicate with Him. He's too great and unknowable for that.

His work is done by a host of sort of Under Gods, whom we worship. With our clothes off, escept for comedy top hats, for those of us whose knowledge of Voodoo mostly comes from watching repeats of Live And Let Die. So there's a god of the sea, trees, water, happiness, seagulls, etc. We can choose which Under God gets the dead chicken.
