until the judiciary are compelled to give the "correct" verdict? To look at this lowlife's family today on the news you could be forgiven for thinking the guy was shot whilst out collecting for the Red cross! I'll have a bet that 10 years from now we'll be crucifying some retired cop, having appealled all the way to the EU supreme court.

/// no it hasn't, and thank goodness, but some are very happy to hang the police and armed services out to dry at every available opportunity, on here and in the wider community. ///

Couldn't agree more, I wonder what the response would have been if instead of a drug dealing, weapon carrying, gang member being shot and killed, it had been a policeman who had been a little slow to react and as a consequence was shot and killed?
anotheoldgit > we don't conduct kangaroo courts in this country, every one is treated fairly regardless of colour, creed or politics. <

tambo, seeing as most were unaffected by the riots its hard to judge, but we were, i would like to see the police out in force, and with the fire service close behind with water cannon, tell them that if you riot, be prepared to get very wet.
AOG, i would hope that people would be sympathetic if servicemen and women get killed, as well as police officers. I think they do a tough job and that one most of us would never consider.
I think aog would find if he actually asked people and gave it a little more thought, that feeling bad about officers being hurt while carrying out their duties; and feeling bad when officers break their oath and do something wrong; are not mutually exclusive.
i have sympathy for the officers sometimes faced with impossible situations, no one wants them to kill people indiscriminately, but perhaps decisions are made and cannot be undone.
I agree emmie

The processes are intended to confirm they did the best one could reasonably expect in the circumstances.

That process isn't helped by idiots adopting the 'who cares, he was just a lowlife' mantra.
agreed on that point. Though there are some who one might wish were taken out of the game permanently, the two who killed Lee Rigby, but that would have made them martyrs, and that would be wrong on every level

This man was tried in a court of law, which was invaded by a mob of Lefties, do you support this kind of action?

/// The protesters were from the anti-establishment British Constitution Group (BGC).///

/// The demonstration was sparked when a prominent voice in the BCG, Roger Hayes, from Wirral, faced a bankruptcy hearing for non-payment of council tax. ///

I would bet that Mr Hayes took advantage of the services that Council Taxes pays for?

ANOTHEOLDGIT asked,
'Why can't they accept an independent legal ruling, we don't conduct kangaroo courts in this country, every one is treated fairly regardless of colour, creed or politics.' http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/courts-are-biased-against-blacks-with- white-offenders-less-likely-to-be-jailed-for-similar-crimes-says-official-report-8959804.html hmmm...
aog can you can me when all these lefties invaded the court as no person knew where he was , it was in secret the clue is in the last few words

> 0930 this morning, in scenes reminiscent of Stasi East Germany, 2 police
cars and 4 policemen from Merseyside Police arrested British Constitution
Group Chairman Roger Hayes at his Wirral home and drove away.

The first his family heard of him was at 18:30 this evening via a telephone
call from a Warder in Liverpool prison, to say that Roger had been tried
and sentenced to prison.

At no time were the family or any other members of the public informed of
his arrest, and it is understood that he was tried in a secret court without a Jury.
anotheoldgit forgot to ask do you support this kind of action?

that is in relation to a person appearing in a secret court with no legal representation.
-- answer removed --
DRF, the two incidents happened on different dates. The first link was about the hearing that ended with gaol, the second was a previous hearing, adjourned because of the disruption.
TEUFEL, the Duggan family are abiding by the judicial system. They do not agree with the verdict and are looking to have it overturnt as the legislation permits. They have said there should be no disturbances as a result of the verdict but that does not mean they accept the outcome.
-- answer removed --
TCL, the family said they want no disturbances but Duggans aunt giving the black power salute and chanting "No Justice, No Peace" isn't really giving out that message
