Please expalin to me where he is funny in any way ?

Anchorman...embarrassingly unfunny
The one about a basketball team....same
The one with Aanna Friel and aliens/dinosaurs....same
The one where he sits in his front garden and has a house sale......I only stayed with it to see if he gets it on with the neighbour..nope he doesnt.....yet again just not funny

I get more laughs on the News board on here than his films

I forced myself to watch all four of the above films from beginning to end more than once just to see if i'm missing anything, i've asked other people if they think hes funny, thats a big no also

what am i missing here ?..how has he made a career out of unfunny, is it some sort of reverse funny mind thing thats going on here, what is it ?

As usual with topics of this nature it is subjective. I find him very funny in most (not all) of his films.

I don't find him funny in the slightest either! Then again, I just don't get most American humour [sic] at all. I've never found anything remotely funny in people like Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Jim Carrey (the worst!), Steve Martin.

I'm exactly the same with Friends. Because my partner at the time never missed an episode, i tried and tried to get the joke. To no avail.

sorry but Elf and Anchorman two of my favourite films ever - I have Elf kept on my Sky+ and am planning to watch it again tomorrow night
