this is freaky--recently on a few occasions a voice has suddenly come thru my pc speakers--think i may have been on msn messenger each time but not sure--the voice is female and simply repeats--"hello-oh" 2 or 3 times then stops--i do not recognise the voice--certainly not any of my contacts and i have never set up anything to have voice conversations--tonight the voice came thru again saying--"that's enough"--twice--but it was like i was hearing a crossed line on a telephone--it didn't seem to be directed to me like the previous incursions--anybody any ideas please--thanks

it might be the adverts for smileys, i hav them if my mouse goes over it, starts it off, plus other adverts do it, thats all i can think of.
it could police or taxi radio being picked up as they drive past your house

thanks to u both--i have had that too jojo100--didn.t make a connection to that--will watch out for it next time i c the smileys--could be the taxis joko--i live right on the main street thru the town on a 1 way system so all traffic passes my house--would need some kind of receiver to pick it up tho'--could b/band router be it--then again i have had this set up for 6 mo and only got this problem past couple of weeks--cheers--arthur

It is weird ajmmac. Nothing odd has come through our pc.... yet, but on two occasions motor racing from Florida came through the speakers on our music centre, plus a football match through the telephone!! My husband put it down to freak weather conditions, but it was a little bit scary.

Question Author
lol cetti--who won the match?
I couldn't say as I was so spooked I ran out the room ;-)

it comes through on my pc and stereo speakers sometimes so you wouldn't need any special equipment.

i think its just interference or feedback as its only a snippet of conversation

Question Author
thanks to everyone--after all comments, suggestions etc here and on my later post i have concluded that it is either random interference and nothing to be concerned with or the smileys ad i have inadvertantly passed the mouse over triggering the voice--cheers to all--arthur
if you've got msn plus or 7.5 then people can send you sounds, but it just comes up as text in the conversation. hope that helps :)
