Do you feel for the families that are hard up, on the food banks, out of work due to whatever circumstances, do you also this that Christmas has lost it's meaning and is exploited.

My feelings are similar to mamya's .
I feel for anyone who is not warm and comfortable at Christmastime...or at any time of year, but Christmastime is much more 'special'.
I cannot get too worked up about Christmas being too commercialised. It only is if you want it to be...and if you want it to be, you've got the kind of Christmas you want.
I will admit this on AB but do not generally....I always secretly suspect that people who claim they dislike the commercialism of Christmas are either killjoys who want to take what they perceive to be some sort of moral high ground....or possibly cheapskates who do not wish to spend money on presents.

I have always loved Christmas and hope that I always will.
