hi , i hope some of you intelligent people can help me ! i am writing an economics essay and was wondering if anyone knows any good sites on "free market economy " also reasons why the government would have to intervene in this kind of economy ? i thought maybe for taxation purposes , any ideas ? thanks in advance

Some points for govt. intervention:

1.Mkt. regulation (ensure monopolies don't take unfair adv. of mkt)
2. Externalities (environmental issues (and many others) being overlooked for profit)
