I know, I saw it in the week on FB. I suppose some people just get carried away (but why didn't anyone say something like 'F***, think you've gone a bit mental with the purple'?) Have you seen the purple flowers in the garden, the finishing touch.

It is fabulous. I adore purple.
I had a purple carpet once, in the bedroom. A long time ago though.
remember that song about "purple people eaters" ? that comes to mind, imagine waking up in bed there with a hangover !the whole house would have to be redecorated before I could move in.

Lord Olivier would have loved this house ! It was his favourite colour. The carpets and seating in the National Theatre are purple in honour of him.
I like it. The only problem would be the carpets - cat barf and hairballs and cats scratching on carpets.
