Frosty Friday. Cold enough for two pairs of boot laces this morning. Ant colder and I'll have to get the fur lined walking stick out.

A lunch meeting today. Should be fun. :o}

Have a happy day everyone.

Good for them Dee. :o}
When you buy the printer, Dee, check out the cost of the inks - some are more expensive than the printer!!
Beej - a neighbour of my late mum used to make her own strawberry jam and when we went over we used to get a few jars to bring home. Our boys used to fight over who got the whole strawberries in it - oh, and soooooo tasty too - she's no longer with us either, more's the pity
Question Author
Good point welshie! Some of the ink cartridges are horrendously expensive. Usually for the cheapest printers, it's how they can sell them so cheaply.

My friend in Yate makes her own jams etc. I always come home with several jars of jam, chutney, etc. You just can't buy it so good. :o}
Time for me to be away - have a great weekend everyone and hopefully see you all back here Monday morning relaxed and refreshed

Morning WBM xxx and all frosty white here this morning. Asda shop today but will by pass the lady making the crumpets. Got g/son for dinner tonight . Talking of strawberry jam my first job at 15 was at Baxters in Fochabers and that was many years ago, When the berries were collected they used to sit in the boxes for days and mould would appear we had to scrape that off. Baxters was just tin huts then. I went back 6 years ago and it had turned into a town practically.

Have a happy weekend Dee. xxxxx :o}

Morning wendi xxx Now there's a bit of social history! How do you scrape mould off a strawberry?
We just had to pick out the mouldy berries on the top . unbelievable but true. would not get off with that now a days .

Quite right too! My friend and her husband have their own allotment and grow all their own veg and fruit. si I know all the produce she makes is fresh. It's being made within an hour, (usually) of being picked, dug up or whatever. I know it's always delicious!
Morning all - start again as my first one was deleted by some spam ad here underneath, my cursor catching it. Grey here, dry, late to the pass as I have had lots of little jobs to tackle already, niggly things and now this pc is playing up - time for a history dump to clear it I think.
Question Author
Morning DT. i make a point of clearing the history daily for that very reason. It only takes a short while and saves a lot of agro.

All well otherwise? :o}
